Gotenba, Japan

In 2006 Royal EIjsbouts cast the worlds' largest swinging bell, for a resort in Gotenba City, Japan. Boasting a weight of 36.250 Kg (79,750 lb) and a diameter of 382 cm (150,39 inches - 12'6"), it would qualify for the Guinness Book of Records. The bell will be rung traditionally, by hand, in a freestanding frame in the "Tokinosumika Park". Its majestic sound (G-sharp00) is bound to be audible for many miles on the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji.
